Commander Keith Wooldridge called the meeting to order IAW VFW ritual.

Quartermasters report read. Motion made to accept report after return of Quartermaster. Seconded, passed.

Adopt-A-Road: Cleanup went well. 15 bags of trash. Several new members.
Membership/Buddy Poppy: 734 Life, 8 New, 10 Reinstate, 127 Continuous, 879 Total, 82.96% membership, $0 in Buddy Poppy Sales.
Building: Need to reimburse Sandy for toilet replacement.
Land & Rec: Grass is green.
House: Working on questions raised last meeting. Manager turned in $2,500.
Golf:
VOD/Youth Essay: Almost all collected. All have been coded, will be going to judging this week. Approximately 320 entries received between all 3 contests.
Trustees: Audits done, books checked and came out to the penny. Grant requests from Home Depot have been received.
Fundraising: Averaging about 21 Texas Hold ‘Em players per game. Breakfasts will be cancelled until after the first of the year.
Surgeon/Hospital: Blood drive first Saturday in December, December 1st. Some equipment is now being accepted. Many pieces of equipment were donated to Citizens Emergency Response Team.
Safety: None.
Upcoming Events: Vietnam Veterans Tribute in Bellingham, Nov.9th. See Cecil for tickets. Veterans Day Ceremony on the 11th, at the American Legion, 7 PM. Thanksgiving dinner Thursday the 22nd. By donation. December 19th, Senior Christmas Dinner, free admission for Seniors. Christmas dinner also. December 7th at Fleet Reserve for Pearl Harbor Day. New Years Eve party by Canteen. If RV owner, can get two days free with purchase of tickets.

New Business:
Motion made to terminate Past Commanders Dinner, and Early Bird Dinner. Motion seconded. Discussion held. Costs versus participation main reason.
Motion made to have free camping for a Campground host for the months of May through October only. Not enough work or light for the rest of the year. Amendment to the motion is to charge $5 per day for the remainder of the year. Motion passed. Motion will go into effect 1 December.
Pete Sill will not be renewing his gambling license to avoid any appearance of Conflict of Interest. Chris Kinkel has volunteered to take over as backup licensee.
Motion made and seconded to raise the scholarships from $750 to $1000. Motion made and seconded to table motion until the next meeting together more information.
