Commander Cecil Pierce called the meeting to order IAW VFW ritual.

Minutes of December 4th meeting read and accepted.

Quartermasters report: Quartermaster was ill, report read by Commander Pierce. Report read and accepted.

Committee Reports

Adopt-A-Road: Scheduled for 13th at 0900.

Membership/Buddy Poppy: No Buddy Poppy sales in December. 727% Life, 27 new, 9 reinstate, 172 continuous, 935 total, 90.51% membership, 98 from 100%.%

Building: Replaced toilet in men’s room, closer on the door from kitchen, other panic hardware installed. Last of Puget Power changes will be done this month, and get money returned from Puget Power.

Golf: No report

Land & Rec: Couple of trees down after the storms. Need assistance to remove. New vacate form for late campers. Vehicle towing discussed briefly.

House: Met on 20th. New Years was by head instead of advance ticket. Managers Agreement finished. Managers report discussed. Chairman Kinkel resigned as Chairman last meeting. Managers review will be next meeting.

VOD/Youth Essay: Certificates to be finished and delivered. Chris Olsen and one other forwarded to District. Chris Olsen took first. Chris goes on to Department.

Trustees: Rick Ford has officially resigned. Ivy Connoly will be one replacement.

Fundraising: Texas Hold’ Em is scheduled for 14 January, 1 PM. 50/50 has not been won. Amount approximately $147.00.

Surgeon/Hospital: 12 Pieces of gear checked out.

Upcoming Events: National Commander visit on January 21st. Dinner suggested. Chris Kinkel will be in charge of dinner as Sr. Vice is unable to do this. Motion made Wooldridge) to charge $10.00 per head for dinner. Seconded. National Commander would be exempt from payment. Passed, one nay vote. 5-6 Social, 6-7 Dinner, 7-8 Social.

Unfinished Business:

Jantorial contract. One offer received, discussed on floor. Duties, pay, days, special events, etc. covered. Proposed amount for these services, $300.00. Pay twice a month.

Motion made (Bunnell) to allow the House to review and let contract for Janatorial services. Seconded by Kinkel. Amendment by Sill, second by Wooldridge to accept proposed agreement and work on formal final agreement. Passed.

Newsletter discussed. Johnson volunteered to head committee to revamp newsletter. This is an investigative committee to investigate costs and formats for savings.

5 Minute Break

New Business:

Wooldridge made motion to tow abandoned vehicle from parking lot. Cost between $40 and $75. Seconded.

Motion made (Kinkel) for Post to reimburse Canteen for costs of plumbing repairs. Seconded. Amended by Kinkel, seconded, that Post pay half of the costs of the plumbing. Passed. Seconded.

Motion made (Wooldridge) to close canteen at 8 PM Sunday night, 10 PM Saturday if business is slow. Amendment (Wooldridge) to allow the Manager to close the bar Saturday and Sunday nights if business is slow. Seconded. Discussion held. Passed.

Motion to increase the ATM fee from $1.50 to $2.00 per transaction. Seconded. Passed.
