Commander Cecil Pierce called the meeting to order IAW VFW ritual.

Committee Reports
Adopt-A-Road: Held in November, fair turnout, mission accomplished.
Membership/Buddy Poppy: 718 Life, 24 new, 7 reinstate, 140 continuous, 901 total, 87.22% membership, 132 from 100%.
Building: Description of work done on office spaces in back room.
Golf: No report
Land & Rec: Minor problems with payment, situation under control.
House: Met on 30 November. Received $4500 from manager from gambling. Manager pay issue now settled. Room rental issue tabled until Jan 2007. Resuming two meetings a month, 2nd & 4th Wednesdays. December dates off due to Christmas. Scheduling policies discussed for room & V-Dome rentals. Use of volunteers for bartending discussed. Volunteers needed.
VOD/Youth Essay: VOD District awards to be passed out at District Luncheon in December.
Trustees: No report.
Fundraising: Texas Hold’ Em is scheduled for 10 Decmber, 1 PM. Volunteers needed.
50/50 working. $87 to building fund, $87 to pot.
Surgeon/Hospital: 17 pieces of equipment out, 19 participants, value of goods, $2,800.06.

New Business:
Motion made by Kinkel seconded by Sill, all bylaws changes passed tonight relating to the Managers Agreement currently under consideration be included in that contract.
Amendment by Stan Gearhart, seconded, correct title is Management Agreement.
Motion and amendment passed.
Motion made by Kinkel, second Conklin, to take any bid in the next 30 days on the remaining BINGO equipment or destroy equipment with the exception of the pieces in use by the 50/50 drawing. Passed.
Jim Glascow reported on the VOD contest and costs to the Post. Costs to come from the Scholarship fund. Winning entries will be posted on the Post website. Total of $800 for Youth Essay, and $225 for VOD.
Sill rescinded the motion made regarding purchase of food baskets last meeting.
Motion made Gearhart, seconded, to buy 10 baskets worth $50 for Christmas.
Motion made by Kinkel, seconded Small, that the Post resume the hiring and firing of janitorial services personnel. Passed.
Discussion of a replacement for Pete Sill as Gambling license holder.
Motion made by Sill, second Kinkel, that the Post pay for the new gambling licensee’s license.
Good Of The Order
Kinkel read item regarding a new traveling wall, including numerous events, artwork, etc. Donation of $8,000 was requested.
Boys and Girls Club request for funding was reviewed.
Pete Sill reported on Cell Phones for Soldiers project. 60+ phones sent. Certain ink cartridges are also being accepted.
Pete Sill reported missing P.O.W. flag from the Memorial Park. Flags are on order but have not been received. Flag in use was larger than US Flag and had to be removed.
