Commander Chris Kinkel called the meeting to order IAW VFW ritual.

Service Officers report: Only available a limited time due to sickness and injuries, 21 claims processed.

Committee Reports
Adopt-A-Road: Cleanup held.
Membership/Buddy Poppy: 725 Life, 27 New, 8 Reinstatements, 108 Continuous, 868 Total Members, 87.94% percent. Buddy Poppy sales $150.
Building: Rearranged back office. Found leak in wall, estimate to be found for repairs. Post Commander for action.
Land & Rec: Complaint about dog droppings has been addresses. Owner is not complying on a regular basis.
House: $0 turned over to Quartermaster. Taxes were due. New Years will have DJ with $10 cover charge. Juke box will remain. Health department inspection held, cooling fans in cooler have been brought to regulations. Discrepancy in number of tables supposed to be in the building. Several missing. December meeting on Dec 22 vice 24th.
Golf: N/A
VOD/Youth Essay: Certificates to be made up shortly. VOD District winners sent to District and Department to be sent tomorrow. VOD winners will be awarded the certificates at Post meeting January 5th. Discussion held regarding payments and grades.
Trustees: No report
Fundraising: Breakfast earned $316 to Quartermaster, need volunteers. Texas Hold ‘Em up, still going strong. 50/50 won two weeks ago. Now at about $26.
Surgeon/Hospital: Next blood drive on December 6. $8,215 in equipment.
Safety: Closures due near Shrimp Shack, Northbound off ramp I-5 at Burlington. Heavy fog lately, watch early morning driving.
Upcoming Events: Breakfast last Sunday of the month, Seniors Christmas dinner on the 17th, Christmas Dinner 25th, New Years Eve Gathering on 31st. Pearl Harbor Day services at Fleet Reserve. Christmas baskets to be sent out on 20th.

Unfinished Business:
Bylaws change proposals.
Motion made to amend Article 6, section 7, to change the word including to excluding maintenance. Motion failed.
Art 7, Sec 2, part b requires check of Nationals rules.
Article 9, section 2 c tabled.
Motion to change Article 9, section 4 to delete duty manager tabled.

Two lights in the parking lots are out. Poles are dead, no power. Puget Sound energy to be notified for assistance. Report next meeting.
Flags need to be replaced at Memorial Park. Post will replace same. Flags on order.
Motion made to sell the dishwasher on Craig’s list for three weeks, then scrap if unable to sell.

Motion made to put $50 seed money into the 50/50 fund when won. This is to include the current new game. Seconded. Passed
