Sr. Vice Commander Keith Woodridge called the meeting to order IAW VFW ritual.

Bud going in for hip replacement.
Cdr. Pierce’s fathers surgery went well. Treatment continuing.
Rick Hannolds sons surgery done. Leg surgery.

Committee Reports
Adopt-A-Road: Road cleanup done, four people attended. Will try to schedule once a month for future clean ups.
Membership/Buddy Poppy: 746 Life, 51 New, 19 Reinstate, 223 Continuous, 1039 Total, 100.58% membership, $594.00 in Buddy Poppy Sales. 2 Drives held last month. Navy Exchange and Albertson’s.
Building: No report.
Golf: Still looking for donations. Would like assistance passing out flyers. 2 Kegs donated, banners donated.
Land & Rec: Weed spaying done, Phil will be in next Sunday. Prepare for work.
House: $2,000 given to Post. Gambling license is in Sandy’s name now.
VOD/Youth Essay: None
Trustees: Canteen in good shape. Taxes paid early. Gambling officer has given us a clean book of health gambling wise.
Fundraising: Good turnout. $462 in from Texas Hold Em. Chris and Mike will take over after tournament.
Surgeon/Hospital: We have too much hospital equipment. Will try to donate to needy groups or organizations. Blood drive still not listed properly. Several Posts affected. 27 Pints collected today.
Safety: Brief description of CERT training class. Drill included.
Upcoming Events: 4th of July Parade & food booth, Golf Tournament 21 July, Meeting 28th of June for Fleet/Legion/VFW at VFW. Time to be posted. Annual Hands Across the Border in June. They are requesting monetary assistance. Annual Picnic is third Sunday in August. Awards to be given at that time. (VOY, etc.)

Unfinished Business:
Mike Pierzchala states new exit signs will be installed. Possibly new post sign. No more info.
Motion made to pay full $150 to join chamber of commerce in light of Ladies voting down a portion of the money. Seconded. Motion passed, Keith will take for action.
New Business:
Motion made to unfreeze employee wages. Seconded. Wages have been frozen for quite a long time. Passed.
Wi-Fi access has been investigated. Installation cost - $100. Monthly billing is $29.95. Expect possible $100 extra to upgrade computers if required, depending on the hookups. This is for Post business only. Will investigate what is needed to provide for extended camping. Motion made to obtain wi-fi at a cost of $29.95 and $75.00 installation with possibility of $100 for required upgrades. 8 yeas, 3 nay. Motion passed.
Delegates for convention. Anyone may attend, will have to pay your own way.
Motion made that the Post go into partnership with Operation Uplift. Seconded. Passed.
Motion made and seconded, that the Post host a Town Hall Meeting with County Commissioners, District Reps, etc. Discussion held. Subject to be covered is to be the failure of recent Veterans Bills, and what to do about them. Passed. Motion made and seconded that we send $100 for Peace Arch ceremony. Discussion held. 8 yeas, 3 nay. Motion made and seconded to Pay Sandy the janitorial wages until new janitor hired. Discussion held regarding billing from Manager, and hours worked and paid for by previous Janitor. Motion to amend the motion to pay Sandy $300.00. Passed.
Motion made and seconded to hire Ben Miller at the rate of $300.00 for 4 weeks as Janitor. Passed.
Motion made for the Post to pay the Janitorial wages, and allow the Manager to do the hiring of said Janitor. Seconded, passed.
Good Of The Order:
Kinkel stated that the license to allow non-members to play Texas Hold ‘Em will be covered by the increased cost of buy in.
Volunteers needed to march in the July 4 Parade, and food booth at City Beach.
Service for China Marine will be held here 16 June at V-Dome.
