JUNIOR GIRLS DEPARTMENT CONFERENCE
This
weekend, June 6-8, we will serve as hosts to the Department of
Washington Junior Girls conference. Junior Girls units, from all across
Washington will call our Post home, beginning Friday evening. A karaoke
show follows dinner on Friday, Saturday’s plan includes roller skating.
Saturday night, following dinner, renowned magician Frank Dunn will
amaze and delight our guests. If you would like to be on hand to assist
with this weekend, please call Amy Hannold 675-2338.

VFW GOLF TOURNAMENT
Entry Form
The Fourteenth Annual VFW Post 7392
Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Saturday July 19 with an 8:30
am shotgun start. NAS Whidbey Gallery Golf Course will be the location
of this anticipated golf tournament.
Come out and enjoy an 18-hole round of
golf, then head off for the V-Dome at the VFW Post at 3037 N. Goldie
Road for a real summer time picnic. At the picnic, golfers eat for
free; their guests can join in the picnic for $5.
Entry fee for the golf tournament is $50
per person and does include green fees. There will be prizes, KP’s on
all par 3 holes; Longest Drive on 2 and a Chipping Pot at the V-Dome.
The tournament format is Modified-Peoria Handicap 6 Blind Holes.
Entry forms to register your golfing team
are available at the VFW Post 7392 or online at the Post’s website
www.vfwpost7392.org. Please bring completed entry forms with payment to
VFW Post 7392 or the Gallery Golf Course Pro Shop. Golfers may also
mail entry forms and payment to: VFW Post 7392, 3037 N. Goldie Road, Oak
Harbor, WA 98277 Attn: Mike Murphy. Please make checks payable to VFW
Post 7392. Deadline for entry forms
is July 11, 2008. This deadline will be enforced to ensure
everyone’s timely registration into the tournament.
All proceeds benefit the VFW Post 7392
Scholarship fund.
