House Committee Meeting

Meeting called to order by the Interim House Committee Chairman at 7:00PM

All members present except:

Skip Johnson – excused

Joe Mooney – excused

Also present were the Post Commander, the Canteen Manager, and one other post member.

Stan Gearheart was elected as the House Committee Chairman.  TIPS license to be wavered by the Post Commander.

Minutes for the July meeting were read and accepted.

Business:

A yearly payment will be made in August 07 for the Dish TV.

Manager to stay with CINTAS (laundry services).  Letter to be sent to terminate the 5 year contract.

Received a letter from the accountant concerning two checks from Februarys 07 that were not cashed.

Manager’s Report:

The financial report was passed out.

The Committee members are concerned about the loss on the food products.  The Manager is working on this matter.

The Manager requested that the annual picnics for July and August be held on the 3^rd Saturday vice the 3^rd Sunday.  The annual VFW picnic request will be taken to the Post for action.

The Manager asked that the Auxiliary be contacted concerning the clutter of the walk-in cooler.

The Manager turned over $4,500.00 to the Quartermaster.

A Motion made and approved to convene the House Committee Meeting at 7:00PM vice 6:00PM on the 4^th Wednesday of each month.

Meeting was adjourned at 7:38 PM.
