House Committee Meeting 1/27/2010

Meeting called to order by the House Committee Chairman at 6:03PM.

Members Present:                               

Stan Gearheart (Chairman)

      Mike Heape

      Dan Ryles

      Ken Kesler

      Brian Wilson

      Members Absent:

      None

      Also present were the Canteen Manager, the Post Commander and the Quartermaster. 

The minutes from 12/23/09 were read and accepted.

Managers Report:

1. The profit and loss statements for November and December were discussed.

A  $700.00 discrepancy in the Gambling account, brought to our attention by the accountant was explained and corrected by the Manager.

2. No NSF Checks.
3. No funds turned over to the Quartermaster.  Upcoming taxes due.
4. New Years Eve party was a success.  Ticked sold more than covered the cost of the band and the bar sales were approximately $1,400.00.

       Business:

1.     The pros and cons for the credit cards machine are on hold.  The House

Committee is obtaining current information for a new accounting system for the Canteen.

       The meeting was adjourned at 6:55PM.
