House Committee Meeting 5/27/2009

Meeting called to order by the House Committee Chairman at 6:10PM.

Members Present:

      Ken Kessler

Members Absent:

Brian Wilson

Don Swendson

      Also present were the Canteen Manager, Post Commander, Quartermaster, and the                  

      Accountant.

      Minutes from 4/22/2009 meeting were read and accepted.

Managers Report:

1.     Question concerning the expenses on the March profit and loss report were answered. Most of the expenses were for non-food supplies.

2.     No NSF checks. 

3.     $1,000 turned over to the Quartermaster.

4.     The accident report (gas line damage) that was routed through the Sheriff’s office is in the Managers custody.  The Quartermaster will deliver same to the Insurance Co.

5.     No new questions concerning the payroll expenses were discussed. A monthly running total was prepared and each committee member present has a copy.  

       Business:

            1.  Ken Kessler is obtaining a free copy of  “QuickBooks” for use by the

                 Manager.  Still working on.

2.  A pay raise for the “fill-in” Manager was approved from $75.00 a day to 

     $87.50 a day.

3.     A discussion was held concerning incidents occurring within the Canteen.

The House committee approved that each incident will be reviewed by the

Manager and the House Committee and the appropriate action will be taken.    

      No automatic suspensions.
