House Committee Meeting 7/22/2009

Meeting called to order by the House Committee Chairman at 6:02PM.

The Post Commander held nominations for the House Committee Chairman.  Stan Gearheart was elected for the coming year. (Railroaded).

      Also present were the Canteen Manager, Post Commander, and Quartermaster.

      Minutes from 6/24/2009 meeting were read and accepted.

Managers Report:

1.     There are still lots of questions on the profit and loss statements.

2.     No NSF checks. 

3.     $2,500.00 turned over to the Quartermaster.

4.     The accident report (gas line damage) that was routed through the Sheriff’s office has been turned over to the insurance company.  The insurance company has requested more detailed losses from the Manager. Still waiting for the check.

5.     Manager is looking into possible opening the Canteen at Noon.

6.     Manager is working on possible Canteen sponsored Dinners.  

       Business:

            1.  Ken Kesler is obtaining a free copy of  “QuickBooks” for use by the

                 Manager.  Ken to download it on 7/23/09.

            2.  A discussion was held concerning “food brought into the canteen”.  This is OK but no

                 canteen supplies will be used.

3.  The Post Commander stated Wi-5 would be available for free during the 

     month of August, 2009.  After that a fee will be charged.

            The meeting was adjourned at 6:46 PM.
