House Committee Meeting 4/22/2009

Meeting called to order by the House Committee Chairman at 6:10PM.

      Also present were the Canteen Manager, Post Commander, and the Quartermaster   

      Minutes from 3/25/2009 meeting read and accepted.

Managers Report:

1.     The profit and loss statement for March were discussed.  Several questions were asked.  Advertising $79.25, Repairs & Maintenance $34.70, Supplies $558.53, Utilities $175.94, and Gambling over & short.  The Manager will try to have the answers at the next meeting.

2.     One NSF check for $10.00 received at the canteen. The Manager collected the $10.00 plus the $3.00 bank fee. 

3.     $1,000 turned over to the Quartermaster.

4.     The accident report (gas line damage) that was routed through the Sheriff’s office is in the Managers custody.  The Manager will hold the report pending a report from the Post Commander before submitting the same to the Insurance Company.

5.     There were several questions concerning the payroll expenses.  Further discussions to follow.

       Business:

            1.  Ken Kessler is obtaining a free copy of  “QuickBooks” for use by the

                 Manager.

2.     A discussion was held on the House Rule concerning Minors in the canteen after 8:00PM.  It was determined the House Rule will be enforced to have Minors out of the Canteen by 8:00PM.
