House Committee Meeting 11/26/08
Meeting called to order by the House Committee Chairman at 6:05PM.

Also present were the Canteen Manager, Post Commander.
Minutes from 10/22/2008 meeting read and accepted.
Managers Report:
1. The profit and loss report for September and October were discussed.
2. No NSF checks on file with the Manager.
3. Profit and loss statement discussed. Still concerned that some inventory items for food are not on the inventory sheets. Manager is working on.
4. The health department inspected our facilities. The results were: Cooling fans needs to be cleaned. Manager and volunteers cleaned them. Leftover food needs to be disposed of. Taken care of. Food preparation area needs to be cleaned.
5. Janitorial supplies not available. Manager is working on to correct the problem.
6. No funds were available to be turned over to the Quartermaster.
7. The Manager will have a New Years Eve party. Cover charge to be $10.00 per person attending. Plans are to have a DJ rather than a band. The band quote was $1300.00.
Business:
1. A motion was made and passed to retain the Juke Box. Some members are playing it. Manager to check on the repair of the small counter machine.
2. The Inventory for post equipment (tables and chairs) is in process. It is believed that several are missing.
3. Motion made and passed to change the December meeting date to 12/22/08 vice 12/24/08.
