Our goal is:

To make sure that the public will never forget the sacrifices of America's soldiers who protect our freedom; to teach America's heritage, promote patriotism, observe patriotic holidays, and teach the proper care of the flag.

History:

1931 - The "Star Spangled Banner Bill" made it to the floor of Congress.  Americanism becomes the third National continuing service program adopted by the Ladies Auxiliary VFW.  Seventy-four years later the program continues stronger than ever.
